Since studying fine art I have been interested in how assemblage art is constructed through found objects.I wish I had discovered antique print trays a few years ago, it would have saved a lot of time hunting around carboot sales and auctions at the weekends.
I loved Joseph Cornell's boxes. His process of keeping objects he bought, found and liked really appeals to me.
I hope to get hold of an antique print tray for storing miscellaneous items in my room at university as I have acquired quite a few over the last 4 years.
It has also been a while since I have made any asemblage art so I would very much like to get back into the swing of things.
